Recently the Minnesota Wild unveiled a new sweater that’s going to be worn at the Alumni Game they’re playing against the Chicago Blackhawks. It looks like this:
If you want a good laugh, click on the tweet and read the commentary. It basically boils down to the fact that the Minnesota Wild is an expansion team. However, the state once had a team called the Minnesota North Stars which got sold and relocated to Dallas as the Dallas Stars. The Minnesota North Stars:
Because the Wild were founded in 1997, the team basically has no alumni, or none of note anyway.
