The unnamed Las Vegas franchise will call T-Mobile Arena home. NHL currently has 30 teams , 16 in the Eastern Conference and 14 in the Western Conference. Las Vegas will play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference.
Now we are all wondering how is will affect the Colorado Avalanche. Well there are many things that will happen. First off it creates another opponent to compete with and another location to visit.
The Western Conference is already filled with fierce competition. It does look like the format will stay the same with games. But there will other changes that will come into affect.
