There was excitement for the Colorado Avalanche as Mikko Rantanen joined the team for practice, wearing a no-contact jersey. Rantanen hasn’t played since October 21, where he had an assist against the St Louis Blues. The media team were as excited to see him back as the fans were.
Nathan MacKinnon has taken on a role as a metor this season, giving tips both to the rookies but also players who are new to the team like Andre Burakovsky.
