The Colorado Avalanche were already getting ready for Christmas a couple days ago. Every year they do something different to get in the festive spirit. They haven’t made an ugly sweater video… yet. But there’s always something.
We already saw our prize rookie, Cale Makar, get into the Christmas spirit all the way back in September, which is when he was tasked with recording “Jingle Bells” for an NHL Christmas video during Media Day:
Well, the Avalanche social media crew had something different in mind. They decided to have the players try some traditional Christmas candy, candy canes.
