Colorado Avalanche place three on waivers; assign another four to the Eagles

Before the Colorado Avalanche took the ice against the Stars last night, the team announced a few roster moves that will help shape the Eagles next season. As of noon today, forwards Andrew Agozzino and Scott Kosmachuk as well as defenseman Mason Geertson will be place on waivers with the intention of sending them to the AHL.

Kosmachuk had a goal in his lone preseason game Monday night against the Golden Knights.

Along with the three players that are on waiver, the team has also sent the following to the Eagles:

Joining the Eagles as 20-year olds, Barron and Anderson are set to start their first professional season after playing last year in the CHL.
