The Colorado Avalanche acquired Pierre-Édouard Bellemare on the first day of free agency. The team signed the 34-year-old center to a two-year contract worth $1.8 million.
Bellemare played for the Vegas Golden Knights last year. I don’t like them too much, so I didn’t watch any of their games except for the ones they played against Colorado. And in those games I didn’t happen to notice the aging forward.
So, let’s look at some stats and video to get a feel for how Bellemare’s 2018-19 season went.
The French-born (not French Canadian) Bellemare played 76 regular season and six playoff games for the Knights.
