As the Colorado Avalanche promoted, Wednesday was National Girl and Women in Sports Day. It is always so exciting to see the progression of women. To see any individual have the ability to follow their dreams is a beautiful thing. To have the support makes it all the more positive and encouraging.
It is still a struggle to break into the sports industry as a female. People do not take females seriously when it comes to sports. The Colorado Avalanche supports females in multiple ways and this showed yesterday!
