With less than a week before the start of the NHL regular season, the Colorado Avalanche have announced their latest round of cuts.
The team has announced that forwards Igor Shvyrev, Martin Kaut, and Ty Lewis as well as defenders Ryan Graves, Sergei Boikov and goaltender Pavel Francouz will be assigned to the Colorado Eagles to start the AHL season.
Of the group, only Graves will have to pass through waivers. He will be added to the group that was announced yesterday.
Along with the six demotions to the Eagles, the Avs have announced that Cody Bass has been released from his PTO.
