The Avalanche on Tuesday will be wrapping up a morning skate at the Pepsi Center while the Broncos' Super Bowl parade and rally heats up nearby.
The Avs, who returned to practice Monday after watching Denver win the big game Sunday, host the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday night to conclude what has been a winless four-game homestand.
"Obviously exciting for the city. I think if you see a championship team from Denver, it maybe makes you a little more hungry to win one ourselves," Avs forward Matt Duchene said.
