The Colorado Avalanche are off to a hot start this season. The club is 3-0-1, a stark contrast from last year’s 0-4 opening. Aside from the hiccup against the Dallas Stars in the first game of the season, the Avalanche have looked dominant.
That dominance has caught the attention of one former NHL bench boss. During an appearance on NHL Network published on October 15, Bruce Boudreau had nothing but love for the Colorado Avalanche.
Boudreau stated:
“I know they’re a good team. They’re 3-0-1, but Nathan MacKinnon, Martin Necas, Cale Makar, they’ve come out and been gangbusters.
