The Colorado Avalanche made a small but meaningful step in their return to play process when the first group of players hit the ice on Monday June, 15th. Together with Gabe Landeskog, Ian Cole and Philipp Grubauer, Nathan MacKinnon wasted no time getting back looking in mid-season form. Erik Johnson and Nazem Kadri joined the group for another skate at the end of the week.
Gabe Landeskog naturally became the first official interview as he met virtually with local reporters to give his thoughts on his first skates with teammates and getting back into the swing of things.
