Spotlight on: Troy Terry. The Highlands Ranch native and former Denver hockey star agreed to a three-year contract Monday with the Ducks. Terry, 20, made his NHL debut on Tuesday in a 4-1 loss on Vancouver and was scratched in Anaheim’s 2-1 overtime victory Friday against Los Angeles. Terry made the quick transition from NCAA Tournament elimination with the Pioneers to beginning his professional career. “I was a little nervous to how they were going to accept me, just meeting me on the road and then all of a sudden in the game,” Terry told The Orange County Register.
