Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov remained off the ice Wednesday and won’t make the trip with his teammates to Dallas, where Colorado faces the Dallas Stars Thursday night.
“He’s getting re-evaluated again today,” Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said after practice at Family Sports Center.
Bednar added he assumed he would have a more definitive prognosis for Varlamov by the time the team returns from Dallas, and that Calvin Pickard again would be in net for the Avalanche against the Stars, with the recalled Jeremy Smith serving as the backup.
