The Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday signed defenseman Anton Lindholm to a two-year contract.
The 5-foot-11, 191-pound Lindholm appeared in two games with the Avs last season, recording zero points. He had a goal and seven assists in 57 games with the franchise’s AHL team, the Colorado Eagles, last year.
In three seasons in Colorado, he has four assists in 62 games.
The 24-year-old Swede was selected by Colorado in the fifth round with the 144th overall pick of the 2014 NHL draft.
