Gavin Brindley has made quite an impression with the Colorado Avalanche.
He’s turned a great training camp and strong start to his rookie season into a two-year contract extension, the club announced Tuesday morning. He is now signed through the 2027-28 season. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Brindley, 21, has three goals and five points in 14 games for the Avs this season. He made the team with a strong training camp and has been a fixture in the lineup when healthy. He's played primarily on the fourth line, but also earned time on both special teams units.
