DENVER — The Avalanche paid tribute to Marek Svatos between player introductions and the national anthem Tuesday night. Svatos, who played 316 games with Colorado from 2003-10, was found dead Saturday at his home in Lone Tree. He was 34.

The Avs illuminated the ice sheet Tuesday with "MAREK SVATOS 40" and requested a moment of silent before showing Svatos' highlights with the team on the big screen.

The Douglas County Coroner's Office has completed its autopsy on Svatos but coroner Jill Romann said the investigation will continue.
