Avalanche has two more games postponed, both against the Dallas Stars

Hours after the Dallas Stars added two more players to their COVID-19 protocol list on Monday, the NHL postponed the Stars’ games Wednesday and Friday against the Avalanche.

Colorado, which hasn’t played since Dec. 16 because of a COVID shutdown, is now up to seven postponed games, including Monday when it was supposed to play at the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Avs’ next scheduled game is Jan. 2 against Anaheim at Ball Arena.

Dallas has eight players on COVID protocol, plus two staff members. The Avs have four players on the list after Kurtis MacDermid was cleared on Monday.
