Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson upgrades in Cherry Hills home swap

Avalanche defenseman Erik Johnson has scored a new house in Cherry Hills Village and swapped his previous home with the seller.

Last month, the NHL player purchased a 7,582-square-foot house at 4660 S. Franklin St. for $7.2 million through a trust, according to public records.

He purchased it from the entity Cubs Partnership, which is managed by Brian and Jean Addy, according to records. And on the same day that the sale closed, Jean Addy purchased Johnson’s previous home at 201 Summit Blvd. in Cherry Hills for $3.2 million, records show.

Johnson’s new home features six bedrooms and seven bathrooms and sits on 3.
