Just to take our minds off the Patrick Roy saga, the Avalanche announced a Rookie Showcase Tournament next month. It will be held at the Westminster Promenade from September 17-19. The Ducks and Sharks will bring their youngsters to the Front Range to participate.
Schedule:
Saturday 17th 2pm MT - Avs vs Sharks
Sunday 18th 1pm MT - Avs vs Ducks
Monday 19th 2pm MT - Ducks vs Sharks
Admission: Gratis
Rookie camp begins on the 15th so we’ll have a couple days of practice before the games begin and perhaps a few after before the vets report on the 22nd.
