The Avs announced today that 6’3 220# forward Andreas Martinsen has re-signed with the club for 2016-17.
Martinsen began last year with San Antonio but was quickly called up in early November and stayed all year save going back for a 1-game stint. He had 4G/7A with the Avs and brought physical play and the occasional highlight reel goal.
Martinsen’s deal last year was a 1-year Entry-Level Contract with an AAV of $742,500 so his qualifying offer would have been approximately $780k. Salary and other notes as they become available.
