The Colorado Avalanche announced Tuesday dates, times and roster for its 2016 Rookie Camp and Rookie Showcase, which begins this Friday, Sept. 16, with an on-ice session at Family Sports Center in Centennial, Colorado.
Twenty-five Avalanche prospects and invitees will take part in the camp and Rookie Showcase games against other prospects and young players from the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks organizations.
Following the two-game slate versus the Sharks on Saturday (2 p.m.) and Ducks on Sunday (1 p.m.) at the Westminster Promenade, Avs Rookie Camp practices will continue on Monday with an on-ice session at 9:45 a.
