Coming off a senior season in which he was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year, Coastal Carolina University’s Frantzdy Pierrot has been selected in the 2018 Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft by the Colorado Rapids.
The Rapids made the Boston, Mass., resident the fourth pick in the second round and the 27th overall pick of the draft.
“I think he has a big upside. I think that’s why he was drafted so high,” Coastal Carolina men’s soccer coach Shaun Docking said. “And he has the right attitude. He’s willing to learn. He’s got a shot.
