NASSAU, Bahamas -- For the second time in as many days, Zac Cuthbertson established a career high as he scored 31 points and missed just three of 14-shot attempts and Coastal Carolina downed Iona 89-84 on Sunday in day three of the Island of the Bahamas Showcase.
On Saturday, Cuthbertson established career highs in points and rebounds with 23 and 12 respectively in an 80-67 defeat against Vermont.
Iona led 78-76 with 2:17 to play when Rickey McGill made a 3-pointer. Cuthbertson followed suit doing the same thing 16 seconds later. McGill responded with a 3-point play off a layup with 1:38 to go and Matt Lindsey reduced Coastal Carolina's deficit to two (84-82) again with a 3-pointer.
