Ernie Clement went 2-for-4 and Daniel Johnson reached twice but few others stepped up for Columbus in last night’s loss. Scott Moss struggled through 1.2 innings, though the bullpen behind him faltered as well.
I am wondering if the injuries and absences at the major league level are beginning to tax the depth of the system overall. It is likely too early to draw any conclusions about this, sometimes “stuff” becomes a “Thing” when you are absolutely not prepared for anything of the sort.
