James Karinchak roughed up in return to Columbus

Box Score · Clippers fall to 59-42

Cleveland Indians legend Ryan Flaherty amassed three hits and was a triple shy of the cycle for the Clippers last night, but it wasn’t enough to overcome clutch hitting from the RailRiders. Aside from Flaherty’s big night, Mark Mathias, Trayce Thompson, and Max Moroff all had hits, all singles.

Starting pitcher Shao-Ching Chiang allowed three runs off seven hits in five innings of work. He only struck out batters; his lowest K total since June 7. Dan Otero pitched an inning of relief, allowing one earned run off one homer.
