Cleveland Indians: Injuries and a brutal loss cap off a weird Tuesday

Tuesday night was one Cleveland sports fans won’t want to think about for quite some time.

The bad news started when Kyrie Irving was traded to the Boston Celtics, which caused the sky to get upset and rain down upon Progressive Field, delaying the game for just over an hour.

Once the Indians finally got underway, things seemed promising when Francisco Lindor hit a leadoff home run. The fact that hit was the only one the Indians would get all night makes it quite a forgettable feat when looking back.

A dud of a game like the 9-1 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night is bound to happen every so often, but the key for this team now is to remain healthy.
