All the same, it’s surprising to see the Indians up and trade a relief pitcher with three more years before he hit free agency. That amount seems a bit low for any Major League Baseball player. If anything, and considering the amount of money in baseball, it sounds like an underpay for some kind of prospect you’ve never heard of in Low-A. That’s an article for another day, though.
