In possibly the most obvious showing of the massive growing difference between MLB and Triple-A this season, Will Wilson put up an MVP-level performance in his return to Columbus on Tuesday, going 2-for-4 with two home runs. That’s two more home runs than he hit in a month in Cleveland. Wilson continues to put up ridiculous numbers at Triple-A this year, currently sporting a 1.144 OPS and a .333 batting average.
C.J. Kayfus was the only other Clipper to have a great game, going 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored. Chase DeLauter was held hitless but walked three times.
