The Cleveland Guardians were looking for the series sweep against the skeleton crew of a Minnesota Twins lineup.
Joey Cantillo didn’t make things easy for himself. In the first inning, three singles and a double had the Twins up 2-0 before an out was even recorded. With two outs, another single put the Guards down 4 runs. Joey locked in for the rest of the game. Stephen Vogt and squad continue to stretch him back out into a starter, which was shown today. In the remainder of his 5.2 innings pitched, Joey only allowed another hit and two walks.
