The skid of the Columbus Clippers continued on Sunday as they dropped their seventh consecutive game.

They lost despite the best efforts of C.J. Kayfus, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, raising his OPS to .955. Brayan Rocchio also reached base safely twice, doubling and walking while Milan Tolentino went 1-for-3 with a walk.

In his first start since he began stretching back out, Joey Cantillo pitched well, allowing one run on two hits with five strikeouts and one walk in 3.0 innings. The Clippers were line to win the game, but Zak Kent had a rough outing, allowing two runs to give up the lead and take the loss.
