Thursday's game between Cleveland Indians-Red Sox postponed

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Thursday's game between the Indians and Red Sox has been postponed because of inclement weather.

No make up date was announced, but the two teams were discussing an Aug. 15 date at Progressive Field before the announcement was made. Originally that was an off day for the Indians in the midst of a 10-game homestand against the Angels, White Sox and Blue Jays.

Following the postponement of Thursday's 6:10 p.m., the Indians announced that their rotation for this weekend's three-game series against the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field will be Danny Salazar on Friday, Cody Anderson on Saturday and Josh Tomlin on Sunday.
