The Guardians received a much-needed break last week, except for the skipper and Steven Kwan, who participated in the All-Star festivities.
Kwan Has Big Moment
Outfielder Steven Kwan had two at-bats in this year’s All-Star Game, and he made the most of it. His first appearance was against Trevor Megill of the Milwaukee Brewers, and he grounded out to end the top of the sixth inning. In his second appearance, he faced Edwin Díaz of the New York Mets and hit an infield single, allowing Bobby Witt Jr. of the Kansas City Royals to score and tie the game.
