The Francisco Lindor sweepstakes remain wide open.
The shortstop will be a free agent at the end of the 2021 season, and there’s no question that Cleveland would like to retain him.
According to an MLB insider Keith Law, Lindor won’t exactly listen to any free agent offers from the Tribe about a long term deal.
He’s said he wants to remain in Cleveland, but it still remains to be seen whether he will be traded by the end of season in 2021.
The front office does hold out hope, and Lindor has said he wants to be here.
