Shane Bieber and Eli Morgan brilliant for their second straight starts in Akron and Lake County

After winning 7-1 on Monday, the Columbus Clippers found themselves on the receiving end of a 7-1 beatdown by Louisville yesterday.

Starting pitcher Alexi Ogando didn’t pitch too poorly, giving up one run in 3.2 innings while giving up four hits and walking three, but he reached his pitch count before the fourth inning was over.

The bullpen did not play well, as Neil Ramirez and Louis Head combined to give up five runs in 3.0 innings to put the game out of reach.

The Clippers offense was not impressive, managing just four hits on the evening.
