READING, Pennsylvania -- Luigi Rodriguez hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning to lead the RubberDucks to a 4-1 win Thursday night against the Fightin Phils.
Akron entered the sixth tied, 1-1, thanks to Yu-Cheng Chang's solo homer in the fifth inning.
With one out in the sixth, Phils right-hander Drew Anderson (5-3, 3.68 ERA) hit RubberDucks batter Bobby Bradley with a pitch, then walked Eric Haase. Rodriguez then homered to give Akron a 4-1 lead.
Jiandido Tromp homered off RubberDucks reliever Cameron Hill in the ninth to make it 4-2 before David Speer came in to get the final two outs.
