Rajai Davis, Cleveland Indians suffer sunstroke in loss to New York Mets

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Rajai Davis beat the snow. The sun proved to be a tougher foe.

Davis made one of the best catches of the young season on April 8 in the middle of a blizzard at U.S. Cellular Field. He took on snow, wind and shadows to track down Adam Eaton's ball at the warning track in center field and make a diving inning-ending catch.

Snow was not the problem Sunday afternoon at Progressive Field. Sunshine was.

Davis lost two routine fly balls in the second inning that turned into three runs as the Mets beat the Indians, 6-0, to win the three-game interleague series, 2-1.
