Francisco Mejia’s multi-hit streak ended yesterday, but that’s because he didn’t enter the game until it was half over. Mejia still went 1-2 with a walk and a run scored, raising his season batting average to .291.

With the game tied 3-3, the Clippers blew it wide open in the bottom of the eighth by scoring five runs. The first two came courtesy of Adam Rosales, who launched a pinch-hit blast:
