Jordan Luplow, have a day!
Luplow smashed two home runs to lead the Indians to a 5-0 victory over the White Sox on Thursday afternoon. The game was called after just five innings of play, thanks to some rainy Cleveland weather.
Luplow, acquired from the Pirates in the offseason, absolutely tattoo’d both of his homers. His first dinger came in the second inning, crushing a 92 mph Manny Banuelos fastball 422 feet into the left field bleachers. His second homer came in the fifth, off Banuelos again, this time smoking an off-speed pitch 424 feet into the trees in right center.
