Indians Senior Staff Agree to Take Pay Cuts to Pay Full-Time Employees Through June

The Tribe has taken the next step to take care of their full-time, non-uniformed employees, as they will pay those employees through the month of June.

ESPN MLB insider Jeff Passan reported Friday the news of the Indians moving forward to pay the employees.

He also reported that both part-time workers and interns with the franchise have been furloughed, that way they can apply for unemployment benefits.

Cleveland.com’s Paul Hoynes reported Friday evening that many of the front office staff will take a pay cut to help pay those full-time employees.

Hoynes said that “all parts of the organization” took pay cuts to make sure to keep those full-time employees employed through June.
