While the Indians struggled with the Pirates at Progressive Field for the second straight night, it was not a good night as well for lefty relief pitcher Andrew Miller, who pitched in relief in a rehab stint down in AA Akron for the Rubberducks.
David Glasier of the News-Herald sent out word via Twitter of the tough night for Miller, who went just 1/3 of an inning, throwing 24 pitches 12 strikes.
He allowed four runs on two hits, with a walk and he also hit a batter in an effort against the Altoona Curve.
