Now that the Indians have their first basemen for 2018 with the two-year deal for Yonder Alonzo on Wednesday, does the team still have any interest in bringing back outfielder Jay Bruce?
Bruce, who was very good in his short time with the Indians, seemed like a perfect fit for the team if they could agree on money, but either the Indians are not all that keen on a comeback for Bruce, or the money isn’t being offered, as there is yet another team with interest for the outfielder.
That team is the San Francisco Giants, who earlier on Wednesday pulled off a great deal for Rays third basemen Evan Longoria, who will fit in nicely in the bay area.
