CLEVELAND -- Not even the back end of the Indians' bullpen has been exempt from the team's overwhelming relief woes.
In an 11-2 loss to the Astros on Friday night, an outstanding performance by ace Corey Kluber went for naught after a rough eighth inning from Andrew Miller and closer Cody Allen. That decisive frame opened the floodgates and sent Cleveland on its way to an ugly defeat at the hands of the reigning World Series champs.
Kluber logged 6 1/3 shutout innings, in which the Tribe starter scattered seven hits and ended with seven strikeouts against no walks, lowering his ERA to 2.
