It was another ugly loss for the Guardians. The bullpen fell apart in the 8th and the 9th, and the offense looked a lot like the offense we’ve seen all season. An already horrific offense is now missing their second best hitter in Steven Kwan, and it sure looked like it tonight.
I know they have an easy schedule coming up, but it is beyond clear that this team is not a World Series contender. They should not continue to sacrifice the future for a season where they have zero chance at competing. I love Carlos Santana, but he cannot be on this team anymore, same goes for Lane Thomas.
