It was a disappointing performance from the Guardians offense today as they could only muster up one run on a solo HR from Daniel Schneemann. They had 8 hits combined they were all singles outside of the Schneemann HR. The offense has seemingly been in a bit of a rut since that Nationals series, hopefully they can break out of it soon.
The big positive today was the fact that Slade Cecconi looked absolutely electric in his Guardians debut. He struck out 8 batters and walked zero in 5 innings pitched and rendered 15 swings and misses, which lead the entire MLB on Saturday!
