Indians minor league catcher Francisco Mejia’s hitting streak finally came to an end after 50 games, as the 20-year-old went 0-for-3 with a walk.
Mejia’s streak began with the Lake County Captains and continued as a member of the Lynchburg Hillcats.
Here are some mind-boggling numbers from the streak, which is the fourth-longest over the last 62 years of Minor League Baseball.
