According to Jeff Passan, Cleveland is in “deep talks” with the Mets for a Francisco Lindor deal. The two sides are reportedly finalizing the steps, which typically means exchanging physicals.
If the Francisco Lindor-to-the-Mets deal is completed as expected, shortstop Andres Gimenez would be part of the package going back to the Cleveland Indians, sources tell ESPN.
