Hello there, Indians fans!
The Indians’ first road trip is officially (and mercifully) over, and as the Tribe prepares for their home opener, let’s look at some players who contributed to the 2-4 start and overreact. I’ll discuss several players: Jose Ramirez, Bradley Zimmer, Josh Tomlin, and Yan Gomes and I’ll tell you how worried you should be about their start to the season.
Jose Ramirez: 1-23, .043/.185/.174
Jose Ramirez, last year’s 3rd-place finisher for the American League MVP, had a disastrous road trip. Ramirez only managed to tally one measly hit on the trip (though it did go for a home run), and has probably resorted to sacrificing a chicken to Jobu at this point.
