Eric Haase's grand slam leads Akron RubberDucks to 4th straight win

AKRON, Ohio -- Catcher Eric Haase hit a grand slam to break the game open, and right-hander Travis Banhart pitched five strong innings as the RubberDucks cruised to a 6-1 win Sunday over Altoona.

Akron got the win despite getting only three hits overall.

The RubberDucks entered the fourth in a scoreless tie when second baseman Tyler Krieger drew a leadoff walk off Curve right-hander Yeudy Garcia (0-2, 10.80 ERA). Shortstop Yu-Cheng Chang then doubled to put runners on second and third.

It looked like Garcia might get out of trouble, with back to back strikeouts of Bobby Bradley and Eric Stamets.
