Do Cleveland Indians need to trade starting pitching to get better? Rant of the week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Indians, of course, could do nothing this winter when it comes to trying to get better. The best parts of their roster are signed to multiyear deals or don't have enough service time to become free agents.

But if this year has shown us anything it is that the Indians, as presently constituted, are not good enough to win the AL Central. At this time of the season teams are what their records say they are. The Indians went into Saturday night's game against Kansas City at 76-76.

They are average, a bowl of soup at room temperature.
