CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Corey Kluber recorded his fourth consecutive start with double-digit strikeouts for the Cleveland Indians on Thursday against Texas, tying him with Bob Feller for the franchise record.
It was Kluber's 30th career double-digit strikeout performance, and his sixth this year.
He becomes the first Indians pitcher to strike out at least 10 in four straight in one season. Feller accomplished the feat across two seasons, from Sept. 23, 1938 through April 21, 1939.
Kluber is also the third pitcher in Major League Baseball this season to have at least six double-digit strikeout starts.
